Op de homepage van de USDAA staat meer informatie over het evenement (zie onder). Nieuw is de verkiezing op de woensdag (lees bericht). Weer iets om over te jureren.

This year's opening day offers up the Grand Prix Classic, celebrating the 20th year of the Grand Prix of Dog Agility®. Among the hundreds of U.S. competitors, some 40 competitors are expected from Japan this year to honor the celebration, along with increased numbers from a dozen countries.
Opening day is also Halloween. Dress up your crating areas for a contest of most creative "chambers", and see if you win in the voting. Judges will evaluate entrants on Wednesday afternoon, with the best three receiving prizes valued at $100 or more. (Attempts to sway the judges with treats are encouraged.) Awards will be made at the competitor's welcome reception party at Monterra's on the show grounds, where an international flavor is being brought to this year's event, with favorite dishes from around the world will be enjoyed before the announcement of this year's Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Competition gets serious on Thursday and continues through to the finals on Sunday, as the regular events unfold, including this year's newest additions of the tournament series finals of the Performance Speed Jumping and Performance Versatility Pairs, which have enjoyed remarkable success in their first official year as USDAA official tournaments. The Performance National Standard finals will be Friday night, Steeplechase and Performance Speed Jumping on Saturday night, following a special celebrity run, and Team and Versatility Pairs will precede the Grand Prix finals in the main ring. A new offering on Sunday will be another "Classic" run from a prior year Steeplechase course.
Veterans will enjoy the Veterans All-Around competition, with "top dogs" running in the Veterans showcase. Following a new structure, all prior competitors in an official tournament in Championship or Performance series are eligible as long as they've attained the age of 9 by the event date.
