Mail uit the States

Onderstaande mail kreeg ik onlangs uit Amerika. Toch leuk om te lezen.

Gert,

I was one of the competitors at the 2006 World Cynosport Games. First of
all, I need to tell you that of all the foreign judges we have had at this
event over the years- you by far were the best. By the way this is not
just my opinion - I heard it from many of the competitors. I know that
judges are supposed to be serious about their job, which you were, but you
also knew when and how to have fun. As a competitor it was nice to see a
judge who was having fun. I know how much work goes into being a judge,
especially at an event like that, but you always had a smile on your face.
By the way in case you are wondering, I received your email address from
Heather at the USDAA office.

The real reason I asked Heather for your email address is that I have a
picture from the Cynosports event of you judging one of my dogs that I
would like to send to you. What caught my eye about this picture is that
it is just you, my dog and the top of the A-frame. Anyone who didn't know
you or my dog, would think you were the handler - as you are right there.
As a competitor it showed me that you were right on top of the situation
ready to make a call if necessary like a good judge is. Please send me an
address where I can mail the photo to.
